This is a 808 bass which i sampled from my novation drum station. The sample covers one full octave from c#0-c1. The sound was recorded through a yamaha m1516 which pretty much has the same circuit as a api. As you can hear it sounds pretty much the same as a roland 808. The drum station uses analog modeling so the sound is pretty nice. Feel free to use in your productions. There is no need to contact me if you release a track with this sample just enjoy.

These are samples from the new korg electribe emx2 music production station not the best recording quality but some nice sounds anyway the weird naming is due to the autoslice function in renoise wich i used to separate the samples from a one shot recording.

My nightstand's lamp is an antique, it works electrically but also has a hole to use oil with it. This is the sound of me turning it off and on then unscrewing the cap on the hole. Could be used as interesting found-sound percussion, very similar to my oil drum sounds.

This was made in serato studio, (although out of my usual comfort zone) it is edm, (i usually do house (or try to), dubstep, and dnb) and was made with nothing but drum kits, no automation, just drum kits. A sputtery drum beat. The bass is from freesound, the snare is from a small chop of my fist hitting an oil drum, and the small breath that acts as percussion is from a children's toy. The hi-hats are from vinyl crackles and mistakes in other recordings, made to sound like the crackles themselves are making the music. 88 beats per minute. I took my snare drum into the wonderfully echoey parking garage of my building to record the reverb. Included are samples recorded from varying distances and positions. Also included are dry versions, recorded in a living room and a super-dry elevator. When used in a production, try mixing in the heavily reverbed snares against the dry ones to fit your taste. Also the reverb snares work well mixed under even unrelated percussions to add a neat ambiance. The same goes for my "stairwell foot stomps" sample set. Recorded 24-bit stereo with a sony pcm-d50. Forest drum sound similar to the old donkey kong style sounds with some atmospheric sound that carries on after using a cement mixer and some rain. If some aspects of this sound are not to your liking there's a couple variations on my page.

Piano lid gently taps as it is opened and rests against the upper front board. Organic reverberations can also faintly be heard from the detuned strings. Possibly could be used for something interesting, it has a wooden bass drum sound. 100+ year old upright piano, microphone placed directly inside. (sample 1 of 4).

This is a "clap" that i recorded very roughly simply by tapping my fingernail on a ceramic radiator (yes, it did hurt a little bit)it sounds very lo fi and organic, and there is a slight metallic resonance to it.

To bring the chorus for example. Made with : white noise filtered, drum layering, big plate reverb. . . I use it all the time hehe. I layered three different snare drum takes to achieve this one. All three of those takes are from a ludwig black beauty. I did a close, stereo overhead, and stereo room mic configuration. A heartbeat sound i created. Fairly consistent through most of it, and then speeds up into heart-attack mode about 30 seconds from the end. To make it, i took a kick-drum sample and a snare-drum sample, and made a pattern of kick-snare, kick-snare, kick-snare, over and over. I then eq'd them to be less distinct and drum-like, added tape saturation to increase the low-end thumping, a small chorus effect and some compression to get rid of the drums' attack. . . Basically just over-processed the hell out of it. Then i used a plugin called wok m-st to get a fake hard-panned stereo effect. My goal was to make it sound like your heartbeat sounds in your ears when you've been running too fast for too long. I think it sounds cool.

Slapping a wooden desk with palms and made a simple percussion loop. It is already trimmed and looped, so you can immediately use it in your daw. Recorded with xperia phone, and then denoised, normalised. The sample is dry with no effects, so you can process it further to your liking.
